Well, I'm not too familiar with Vista, but I believe you right-click on the icon, select Properties and it's in there. If that's not it try searching for some sort of Run As... option.

What kind of monitor do you have? Is it an LCD, or any other type of more, well "special" monitor?

Oh, I think what's wrong. I seem to remember that laptops had a special type of monitor, don't remember the details but it gave me problems on my games too. Other than that, I don't have any other ideas.

If its the monitor why not try hooking it up to a desktop monitor there is a outlet in the back that accepts it.

Click the Start button.

Hold down Shift and Ctrl and *right*-click the blank area of the Start menu.

Click "Exit Explorer".

Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc.

Click File > Run...

Browse to find the game and run the executable file.

To restart Windows Explorer, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, click File > Run..., type "explorer" and press Enter.

Sorry about the late reply.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm afraid it didn't solve the issue with the text.
